Binary Domain demo (PS3) - Stage 1
1A playtrough of the first stage from the demo of Binary Domain, the first game made by the newly formed Ryu ga Gotoku Studios (formerly AM4, and Amusement Vision).
The demo itself is only available on the Japanese PSN, so the demo itself doesn't support english, which means I can't understand the dialog aside from a few words. That is why I had a hard time with the boss in this part, I could only guess the correct process of it. The game feels like a standard, cover-based shooter, but it's much more dialog-heavy than the rest of its genre, as your partners' trust level can go both up and down depending on your answers, orders, and overall combat performence. If this feature can actually affect the stages themselves, then I can say that this game is the modern equalent of Contra: Hard Corps, as both games have more depth compared to their genre.
