BioCrisis, developed by Jim is a short and sweet on-rails shooter inspired by the Atari PC era in the 80s, as well as other games like The House of the Dead, has some great pixel art, controls are simple and shooting feels pretty good. A sequel is being made and looks to be a more realized version and I'm pretty keen for it even in spite of the issues I had with the demo. Give the first game a try, it's dirt cheap.

It also has a track in the menu and some ambience in the credits cutscene, very reminiscent of retro-inspired Synth music.
