Bionic Bay Gameplay Demo – Innovative Physics and Sci-Fi Platforming
7Bionic Bay is an upcoming 2D platformer developed by Mureena Oy and Psychoflow Studio, set to release on March 13, 2025.
Players control a scientist equipped with a unique teleportation device, aiming to escape an ancient biomechanical world filled with imaginative technology, deadly traps, and hidden secrets.
The game introduces an innovative "Swap" mechanic, allowing players to interact with the physics-based environment in novel ways, such as shifting gravity and interchanging positions with objects and adversaries.
This mechanic, combined with a realistic physics system, offers a fresh approach to platforming challenges. Visually, Bionic Bay features gritty high-density pixel art, immersing players in vast sci-fi landscapes and distinct biomes, each enhanced by suspenseful sound design.
The game also includes an online mode with competitive speedrunning, leaderboards, and character customization, enabling players to race against others' ghosts and personalize their in-game scientist.
Regular updates introduce new events to keep the online experience engaging. Bionic Bay is published by Kepler Interactive and will be available on multiple platforms, including Steam and PlayStation.
