We found the 3rd tear as well, and after a final fight with Lady Comstock's angry ghost, Elizabth had a proper closure with her. We wnt inside Comstock's house, only for the songbird to attack and capture her again. Blacked out, I regain senses and find myself in a weird version of Columbia, with Elizabeth's statue and shrines everywhere. I keep seeing tears, that seem like trapped memories of whatever happened since I blacked out, mostly Elizabeth begging to be free.
And then the weirdest part of the game comes - with a being that had some sort of speakers or phones instead of head - commanding these weird blank people to attack me.
