The Bishop Montgomery High School Jazz Band performed for the judges at the 31st Santa Cruz Jazz Festival on March 17, 2017 at the Cabrillo College. The Jazz Band performs at school concerts held for students, parents, and faculty. The BMHS Jazz Band is the larger of two jazz ensembles at Bishop Montgomery, allowing students proficient in instruments not ordinarily used in jazz performances to join the band. The larger horn sections of the Jazz Band also allows them to perform big band arrangements. The Jazz Band is directed by Mr. Eric Hankey.
