This week I've just gotten back from my first ever eSports event. The Smite World Championships. It was 100% worth going to. I had a great time and met awesome people. But when telling friends and family about it, I was often met with confusion.

A lot of non-gamers don't really understand what eSports is, or the talent, work, and skill that goes into it. From the players, to the event hosts, the sponsors, and the fans. eSports is big business. And it's here to stay. So let's chat.
