Bit vLog #83 - Is VR the Future of Gaming?
16The last couple weeks have seen some big announcements around VR. Microsoft have announced partnerships with both Occulus, and Valve VR. They've also unveiled their Augmented Reality (AR) headset, the Hololens.
Meanwhile, Sony are working on Project Morpheous, their PS4 VR headset. Nintendo on the other hand, have avoided all things VR since the Virtual Boy took a long walk off a short pier.
With so many different companies taking different approaches, this week I wanted to discuss how VR, and indeed now AR, fits into gaming, and whether it's the next step in hardware.
