"June 28, 2004 - On Friday we reported on heavy rumors that developer Taldren, best known for most of the Star Trek: Star Fleet Command titles, has closed. While there has yet to be an official announcement from the developer, further evidence has emerged: a Majesco spokesperson has confirmed that Black 9, Taldren's latest project, has been canceled.

Originally planned for the PC, Xbox, and PlayStation 2, Black 9 was a third-person action title set in a dystopic future.
