Black Flag - 'All Aboard!' Achievement Guide
3You complete a boarding by killing enough of the other ship's crew. The trick here is to end the boarding as quickly as possible, so none of your crew has to get killed. If you see a message along the lines of "crew killed -1" over your head in red letters; then one of your crew members has died and you can't get the achievement anymore for that boarding.
The best course of action is to use one of the small cannons you can find on either side of the steering wheel. These cannons have a limited amount of shots but with some good shooting you can actually get quite far. After you've used up all the cannon's shots, if you were quick enough and if the ships were far enough from each other, the ships are still not touching sides, and you could either start shooting people with your pistol(s) or you could just jump over and start assassinating people, whichever you're more comfortable with. Once you kill the required amount of enemy crew the achievement will unlock.
