Edward can wear a variety of armor found throughout Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, but one of the best is the Templar armor, which drastically increases his defense, allowing him to take far less damage compared to his normal gear. Once you've obtained the first key from the story mode, you can hunt down the remaining three keys via the following quest line.
