Black Future 88 is mostly a roguelike run and gun game in a Cyberpunk theme. I'm a bit mixed on this game, while i'm used to use both analogue sticks at the same time now (which took me while to get used to), the game expects you to do this. Sure you can also press the Firebutton and your character basically autoaims in a certain angle and shoots the enemies. But often enough you stop shooting at one target, because another one got closer. But it's important to reduce the guns that are shooting at you.

The other problem i have with this method is, that the game enables enemies to lock on you, no matter on which angle you are. If the enemies got only limited angles like in 45° steps, then you can better predict where the bullets are going.
So you're kinda constantly moving because of this.

You got limited ammo and when it's gone you need to melee the enemies.

I like the esthetic of the game and it is fun, but i'm relative sure that this will transform into a bullet hell (more like it is now).
Another nice thing is, that you can find special warps that lets you buy passive skills. Like Increasing your Damage, give you a second Dash, Dash does hurts the enemy, Dashing through bullets might heal you a bit and other skills. So each playthrough is a little different from before.
You also can choose from a set of skills, when you did beat a boss.
The enemies drop different things, like Ammo, Money or sometimes even weapons.
With the limited ammo you sure want to have another weapon.

This type of game sure would work as an arcade machine, since they did also try to kill you quickly, so you spend another coin for some extra lives :)
