1In Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, the storyline follows CIA operatives caught in the tumultuous post-Cold War period as they confront new threats amid global upheaval. Frank Woods and his protégé Troy Marshall, joined by handler Jane Harrow, become embroiled in a high-stakes mission when they encounter “Pantheon,” a rogue paramilitary force. Following a mission mishap, Woods and Marshall go rogue, assembling a team of skilled operatives, including tech expert Felix Neumann and assassin Sevati Dumas, to investigate the deeper agenda behind Pantheon.
Their efforts ultimately reveal links between Pantheon and Saddam Hussein, as well as a CIA-developed psychochemical weapon, “The Cradle,” originally designed to enhance soldiers. As the team faces threats from within their ranks and battles political obstacles, they must thwart Pantheon’s plans, which involve using The Cradle in a high-profile false flag attack to consolidate power within the CIA. The campaign offers missions across diverse locales—from Washington D.C. to Iraq—enhancing the story’s complexity and challenging the team’s loyalty and survival skills.
