Today we are breaking down EVERY NEW FEATURE & Change included in Black Ops 7 Zombies, including the confirmed CLASSIC MODE, full BO7 Zombies map details, Black Ops 7 Zombies Gobblegums, Black Ops 7 Zombies Augments, Black Ops 7 Zombies Gameplay Updates, Black Ops 7 Zombies New Systems, Black Ops 7 Zombies Gameplay Improvements and more. Black Ops 7 Zombies will launch with four core modes: Standard, Directed (continuing from Black Ops 6), Survival (focused on smaller maps and core survival experience), and Cursed (designed for advanced players with classic point system and challenging modifiers). Cursed mode uses the Black Ops 3 point system, starts players with only a pistol, and introduces relics as modifiers that increase difficulty and unlock new content tiers. Relics include penalties like disabling ammo crates or limiting purchases, and the mode is designed for deep replayability and ongoing seasonal updates.The launch map is large, detailed, and inspired by "Transit," featuring fog zones, multiple points of interest, and a central wonder vehicle called Old Tessie. New enemy types include the Zursa (giant zombie bear) and Ravagers (small, vehicle-damaging enemies). The map design encourages teamwork and exploration.Augment research from Black Ops 6 continues, with each track expanded by two new augments (major and minor). Players can equip two minors and one major per content piece. New mechanics like Overheal and a total of 66 new augments for existing content, plus new tracks for three new pieces (Toxic Growth, Whisp Tea, Fireworks Ammo Mod), are introduced. High round adjustments include fewer super sprinters, higher damage caps, smoother difficulty curve, and less reliance on special enemies. Melee attacks now allow for critical kills and charge attacks. Mystery box improvements, perk system changes (Wonderfizz access after four perks), multiple power-ups per round, and quality-of-life upgrades like auto-revive and fade-in at match start are implemented. Survival maps will include all core gameplay elements (arsenal station, crafting table, pack-a-punch). The loadout system is being balanced to encourage use of wall buys and mystery box, making it harder to stick with loadout weapons throughout the game, especially in mid-rounds. Cursed mode starts with only a pistol and no loadout weapons. The team addressed questions about loadout balancing, survival map features, perk mechanics, and confirmed ongoing consideration of community feedback for future updates and post-launch content.
