Black Squad - Destruction Gameplay (Worst Mode Ever?)
2It's me, c0d! - Playing Black Squad's Destruction mode - Probably the worst, uninspired mode I have ever played.
This is your typical Call of Duty deathmatch with bullshit killstreak abilities, BUT(!) with an added twist of objectives that you need to hit with your knife...Here's how it is: Bullets do 1 damage(!), whereas left clicking on it with your knife does 12. I mean, really? What the...
You earn "points" with which you can use these abilities upon levelling up, and using these ablities potentially earns you even more points. So in short, whichever team gets the better start just snowballs the whole match out of control.
At first this will seem like a fun mode to play on, but as you play it a bit more you will start to realise how ridiculously unbalanced these abilities are. The whole idea of these objectives is just not thought through well enough. The abilities' animations are really rusty and don't fit in well with the game's fast pace. For instance throwing a medpack down and the time it takes to heal you in a firefight is just too long to make a difference (unless you are behind cover, which actually means you are a pussy (like most players that play this mode)). Sentries have too much HP, as does the helicopter (basically unkillable), airstrikes and arties are near instant and you can't escape them, and so on...Maps are too small for such art spam, are fairly linear and get boring very quickly.
Sure, with a few tweaks here and there and more refined abilities and maps, this can become a worthy mode to play on. Until then stick to Demolition - that's where the real game's at!
