Edward Thatch (c. 1680 – 22 November 1718), better known as Blackbeard, was an English pirate who operated around the West Indies and the eastern coast of Britain's North American colonies. a sailor on privateer ships during Queen Anne's War before settling on the Bahamian island of New Providence, a base for Captain Benjamin Hornigold, whose crew Thatch joined around 1716. Hornigold placed him in command of a sloop that he had captured, and the two engaged in numerous acts of piracy. Their numbers were boosted by the addition to their fleet of two more ships, one of which was commanded by Stede Bonnet; but Hornigold retired from piracy towards the end of 1717, taking two vessels with him. And made Thatch walk the plank Hornigold saying “the first rule of piracy is there can always be more treasure for me” and after he drowned the Grim Reaper appeared and offered Thatch a chance to save himself and get revenge, after raising Thatch from the dead, Thatch asked “What do I do now?” and the Grim Reaper replied “Swim” Thatch swam back to the mainland never getting tired or needing to rest and commandeered a ship which he found out by grabbing the wheel of a vessel or by stepping on a row boat could enchant it just by touching it make turning the wood and sails black and turning it into a speed boat. Also as a Reaper Thatch could magically summon any black clothing and weapons he could think of, and his flint-lock pistol could fire repeatedly without needing to be reloaded, sometimes he’d dual wield auto-firing flint-lock pistols. Becoming known as Blackbeard His ship was the Queen Anne's Revenge, after getting revenge he became the most successful pirate in history and an unstoppable force, but he feared that one day the different Governments would find a way to stop him, “I can’t be the only one like this he thought” so he buried his treasure saying “and if I am as spiritual as I think I’ve become I should be able to remember where I’ve buried this Treasure the next time I reincarnate” but just in case he doesn’t remember he makes a treasure map that he hides in his childrens belonging, Alexander Spotswood, the Governor of Virginia, contacted the Japanese Emperor Nakamikado through his yakuza contacts in Virginia, and the Emperor agreed to lend aid by sending an appropriate amount of Shinigami to eliminate Edward Thatch or “Blackbeard” and one day while Blackbeard was zooming across the ocean on his black sails speed boat, he saw a wall of black robed orientals with katanas standing on the water blocking his path, he tried turning the boat around but they had already made a circle around him, he began autofiring his cannons at them but they hit his boat with and energy attack and it exploded he and them were all moving so fast that they were bouncing off of pieces of the exploding boat in the air fighting each other, it appeared that Blackbeard was stronger than anyone of them fighting like 7 at a time but there was just too many, and the Shinigami freed the 7 seas from the reaper pirate once and for all.
