Thomas Sawyer s a boy of about 12 years of age, who resides in town of St. Petersburg, Missouri, in about the year 1845. Tom Sawyer's best friends include Joe Harper and Huckleberry Finn. Tom's infatuation with classmate Becky Thatch is apparent as he tries to intrigue her with his strength, boldness, and handsome looks. He first sees her after he confessed his feelings for Amy Lawrence, one of his classmates. He lives with his half-brother Sid, his cousin Mary, and his stern Aunt Polly. Tom has another aunt, Sally Phelps, who lives very much farther down the Mississippi. A fun-loving boy, Tom skips school to go swimming and is made to whitewash his aunt's fence for the entirety of the next day, Saturday, as punishment. Tom cleverly persuades the various neighborhood children to trade him small trinkets and treasures for the "privilege" of doing his tedious work, using reverse psychology to convince them it is an enjoyable activity. Tom later trades the trinkets with other students for various denominations of tickets, obtained at the local Sunday school for memorizing verses of Scripture; he cashes these in to the minister in order to win a much-coveted Bible offered to studious children as a prize, despite being one of the worst students in the Sunday school and knowing almost nothing of Scripture, eliciting envy from the students and a mixture of pride and shock from the adults. but reveals his ignorance when he cannot answer basic questions about Scripture. Tom pursues Becky, eventually persuading her to get "engaged" by kissing him. However, their romance soon collapses when she learns that Tom had been previously "engaged" to another schoolgirl, Amy Lawrence, and that Becky was not his first girlfriend. Becky is the step daughter of John Jacob Astor, and so they changed her name from Becky Thatch to Becky Astor, John Jacob Astor didn’t like how Tom was flirting with his step daughter so he hired Injun Joe to murder Tom and Huck while he’s at it. Shortly after Becky shuns him, Tom accompanies Huckleberry Finn, a vagrant boy whom all the other boys admire, to a graveyard at midnight to perform a superstitious ritual designed to heal warts. Injun Joe grabs the boys and snaps their necks and throws them into the river. Later, Peter Pan appears trying to bring their spirits back to Neverland when he is chased off by the Grim Reaper who brings them back as Reapers, Tom and Huck wake up in the river vomiting and Huck having an alcoholic father figures they must have gotten into his stash and got drunk and fallen into the river, and can’t remember anything because of the alcohol, Tom doesn’t know what happen either but goes along with Huck’s explanation for why they were waking up in the river, Huck makes Tom swear a blood oath that they won’t admit to stealing alcohol or underage drinking. appearing at his own funeral. The trio later carries out this scheme, making a sensational and sudden appearance at church in the middle of their joint funeral service, winning the immense respect of their classmates for the stunt. Back in school, Tom regains Becky's favor after he nobly accepts the blame and caning punishment for a book she has ripped. Later Tom and Huck are at Becky’s when her step father walks in and is startled by them and getting angry, Tom asks what’s the matter, and John says “Nothing just upset about a business arangement that appears to have not gone through” Going through Becky’s things Tom and Huck find a Treasure map, and Becky Thatch says “Oh yeah that’s my Grandpa’s he was a real nutjob though apparently” Tom and Huck go “It Looks like its a Treasure Map I bet there’s treasure where this big X is” John Jacob Astor tricks Injun Joe into going to court for the murder of Tom and Huck saying he can get him off if he pleads guilty, but then brings out Tom as a witness, and Injun Joe freaks out and starts screaming “It’s the devil, It’s the Devil” and runs out of the courtroom through a window, and then runs off until they lose sight of him. And the Judge goes “wow I can’t believe that just happened” Tom, Huck and Becky after the commotion follow her grandfather’s treasure map to the X, and undig buried treasure, but they were followed by John Jacob Astor her step father and he takes the treasure from them saying it’s rightfully his, as her step father, furious Huck leaves and becomes the Outlaw Billy the Kid, because he never liked the name Huckleberry, and his murder spree is eventually put an end to by the now Detective Tom Sawyer. I think when Detective Tom Sawyer congratulatiate Sherlock on job well done, Sherlock experiences Tom's black'd out memories and begins vomiting, "Hey are you okay?" Tom Sawyer goes, Sherlock not willing to tell Tom about things that happened to him that he doesn't remember.
