Blackhawk AA Crash Simulation Reveals a barometer wasn't set alt & showed 200 ft when irl 400 ft
Simulator Reveals a barometer set was never engaged so the Blackhawk alt said 200 ft when irl 400 ft i fly the same weather without setting the barometer calibration & this explains why both pilots thought they were at 100-200 ft well below the glide slope for runway 33 arrivals. Before i take off the altimeter reads -200 ft and this simulation is using the exact weather and pressure from that date & time. And this explains why all 3 pilots wouldve seen their altitude at the correct alt when their actual altitude was200 ft higher and because the gauges said 100ft - 200ft they wouldve been looking 200 ft higher for any approaching aircraft because no aircraft would be approaching under 200 ft. This also explains why ATC data showed the Blackhawk at 200 ft because that was the data transmitted because of the wrong gauge reading. @blancolirio
