Blackhawk AA Crash Simulator Reveals a barometer wasn't set alt said 100 ft when irl 600 ft
Simulator Reveals a barometer set was never engaged so the Blackhawk alt said 100 ft when irl 600 ft i fly the same weather without setting the barometer calibration & this explains why both pilots thought they were at 100 ft well below the glide slope for runway 33 arrivals. Also it explains why they looked up above the AA flightpath because that's where they would expect it to be cause with night vision their alt readings were showing 100 ft when they were actually 600 ft will see in video i hit B in simulator & when it calibrated the barometer setting it changes instantly to the correct reading of 600 ft and directly in the glide slope of AA Watch til end and see a near miss by a heavy with Heli at 100 ft near the runway 33 pretty cool miss that shows that a faulty switch on the Blackhawk may be responsible for this accident.@blancolirio
