Need for Speed Unbound is a 2022 racing video game developed by Criterion Games and published by Electronic Arts. It is the twenty-fifth installment in the Need for Speed series, the first for Criterion since 2013's Rivals with Ghost Games, and the first as the leading developer since 2012's Most Wanted.

NFS Unbound's Lockdown mode is a high-stakes, PvPvE multiplayer experience in which teams of up to three players compete against each other and the environment. Players must navigate a shrinking Lockdown Zone, securing valuable loot from Lockups and hot rides and escaping with their haul before time runs out.
