In this Blacksea Odyssey gameplay video we check out how far the game has come since the exciting prototype launched in early 2015.
The game sees you playing an old man hunting giant space fish for bounty while fending off lots of inventive smaller fish with your spear gun and harpoon. You can harm most creatures by weakening them with your spears, then ripping off crucial parts of their anatomy with the harpoon.
This video shows off both of the giant creatures you can currently face, along with the new key and chest method of gathering power-ups.

Blacksea Odyssey features rogue-like elements including permadeath, procedurally generated levels, and a steep difficulty curve. Gameplay revolves around massive boss battles in which the player hunts giant space creatures over five times the size of the screen. An expansive customization system which allows for over a million rune builds enables the player to hunt as they please. The fully destructible environment makes for dynamic combat. Lastly, the player can rip enemies apart piece by piece using the harpoon mechanic."
