I like cooking outside, even if I don't go camping very often. So this week, I forged a campfire tripod. It's not a very difficult build and it's perfect for a weekend project.

The trammel hook is based on the tutorial made by Dirty Smith (watch his full tutorial here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oBSnCC5tn9M&t=1212s).

I use 10mm square stock of mild steel and 30mm flat bar.
I made it a little bit too long for the size of the legs, so if you want to try and make your own, I recommand you to make longer legs (around 6ft-2m). Once it was done, I brushed it with a wire brush and put two coat of varnish to protect it from rusting.
