Blacksmiths HATE this one simple trick
378Last night during my live stream, I showed off a simple glitch you can exploit in Final Fantasy Adventure for the Nintendo Game Boy. By simply rearranging your inventory and soft-resetting, you can trick the game into thinking that your initial equipment is actually much more powerful than it really is.
A great example of this Equipment Defense glitch can be found at the very beginning of the game. In the town of Topple, head to the weapon shop and buy an iron helmet.
Open up your inventory, and equip the iron helmet, then MOVE the bronze helmet that is now in your inventory ONE SPACE to the right. Exit your menu and save the game. Now, SOFT RESET by pressing A, B, Select, and Start simultaneously.
Once you are back on the title screen, load up the file you just saved. Open your equipment menu and EQUIP your bronze helmet. Even though it ordinarily gives LESS DEFENSE than your iron helmet, you should now see that it grants significantly more defense than the iron helemet.
