BnS NA/EU users have been experiencing FPS stuttering and performance hit in early March when NCSoft decided to update their game. This hit specifically affects Windows 8 and 10 users. The culprit is GameGuard and in the video I explain how to remedy this issue and solve in the case where NCSoft re-enables GG resulting in a 4049 error due to GG not able to update itself. On a side note this also helped a friend of mine who was having nvidia kernel display driver problems specifically when running BnS. The game is poorly optimized and I do hope NCSoft either solves this issue soon or just disable GG.

To find the BnS GG folder the default pathway should look like this: C:\Program Files (x86)\NCSoft\BnS\bin
