Blades of Time (PS3) RPCS3 recording test (Vulkan API, 1080p)
It is another obscure game that I completed earlier on my PC. It is sequel of X-Blades made by the same Russian developer Gaijin Entertainment. Again it is rather average low budget game, nevertheless fun to play. Similar as in X-Blades case this game also works perfectly fine on RPCS3 emulator unlike on Xenia (XBOX 360 emulator) or Yuzu (Nintendo Switch emulator), there game barely booting and you can't even reach menu level. I have to admit Xenia is now more promising emulator than RPCS3, but some games don't work yet (but I think it is only matter of time). I mean on RPCS3 you can already play most games but their performance is not good yet (you have to got a really powerful CPU). However RPCS3 is a first emulator on which you can complete this game without major issues, and I'm going to do this just like in X-Blades case (because I like this very much just like X-Blades). It is not that I don't like this emulator, I've been tracked its progress since 2016, when only few games were playable and before first milestone which was going to ingame in Demon Souls in march 2017. PS3 is very difficult hardware for coding games and reverse engineering, therefore I can understand why this emulator can't play most games properly (but again it is the only matter of time), but so far progress in development of this emulator is impressive. This time I chose 30 FPS recording mode since game doesn't work in 60 FPS.
