Blasphemous 2 ALL BOSSES DEFEATED!
Is that really the Briar Armor set?!
DISCLAIMERS:
- The video shows only Ending A of the game.
- Two different clips were used for the bosses that had dialogue at the beginning, hence why theres a Guilt Fragment.

And here is the Blasphemous 2 boss video. I couldve done this around when the game released, but didn't feel like doing so since I was kinda burned out of doing these types of videos plus university. However, like explained in the previous video, I probably picked the perfect time to do this since theres apparently an announcement coming soon. Could be for the game, or something else, but thing is that I finally got around doing this.
Ive played this game three times, with this being the third time I go through this game and its still an amazing experience, just like the first Blasphemous. Despite me liking certain aspects of the previous game better, Blasphemous 2 is the better game by a long shot. The overall gameplay, combat, gearing, platforming are just so much better here than it was in Blas1. The overall art and sprite art in here is absolutely amazing. I really loved the visuals in this game and still do. Also the soundtrack is one of my all time faves.
However, one of the things I find this game lacks are in the areas and enemy variety. The areas are less memorable in here than in the first game. Mostly due to them not having something that distinguishes from one another aside from visuals. The standout areas from this game were few and far between, with some notable examples being Sacred Entombments, Garden of the Costales, Mother of Mothers, Dos Lunas and Crimson Rains. Honestly, I found the areas in the previous game to be more memorable, thats all. Another thing that could contribute is enemies. Some of the enemies were either resprites or reused from the previous game or the same enemies from this game, but with a different element and a different gimmick to try and differentiate them. While there are some unique enemies here and there, they get overshadowed by the recycled enemies. Could be a lore reason, but it felt like they cut corners of the enemies.
Lastly are the bosses, while I think the bosses in Blas1 are better, that doesnt mean the bosses here are bad, for the most part, I actually liked the boss battles in here, probably better than the first game by a slight margin. However I feel like they kinda fall of in the late game, plus a sound bug that affects two of the bosses can ruin the experience, one being in this video. Like the Blas1, I learned some strats to deal with these bosses. I imposed a challenge to myself to not use a health flask.
As for my fave bosses: Orospina, Lesmes and infanta, Afilaor, Benedicta, Sínodo (Mostly the music) and Eviterno.
One last thing, Blas2 is more forgiving than its predecessor, decently challenging at times, but kinda easy. Hoping for a NG+.
Overall, Blasphemous 2 is an amazing game, like the first one, and an improvement. One of the best Metroidvanias out there personally.
