Beating Malenia for the first time in Elden Ring!

Here it is, the most iconic boss in the game and probably one of the most iconic bosses in modern gaming, Malenia, Blade of Miquella.
This is without a doubt the hardest boss ive fought yet. I pretty much used a Spirit Summon for this fight, and while that may be seen as "cheating" or whaever, I actually liked that since it gave me options to see what worked and what strats to go with.
Malenia is a rather straightforward boss to learn, but you have to know what attack she is gonna do since one slip up and she'll be at full hp due to lifesteal or be stunlocked to death. The attack that you may have to wary of is her infamous Waterfowl Dance, which is one of the hardest attacks to dodge, so much that its one of the top results when you type "How to dodge". I tried using Bloodhound Step, which is prob the best option for it imo. Another option is to have a spirit summon to try and bait her to attack it instead of you which is easier said than done. Also recommend to go lightweight by removing most of your armor. The lack defense wont matter since youre gonna be taking heavy damage anyway.
I pretty much settled for the Black Knife Assassin summon since i heard it was pretty good and it did the job rather well. The summon inflicts a debuff that cuts HP alongside a DoT. If you keep it alive, you can have it for Phase 2.
Malenia's phase 2 was kinda anticlimactic since she has less health for some reason, making it so she goes down easily with the Black Knife Summon.
One day ill beat her without summons. I promise.
One of the best fights in the game though.
