Blaster Master Zero 3 is a mixed Sidescrolling Platformer and Top-Down-Shooter and a game based on Blaster Master for the NES (which i barely played). In all honesty, after i played this game i looked into it a bit more and there are more games in this series that i anticipated. I found 9 games. Most of them are in a 2D look the fifth game comes in 3D.

So the games here/character is mainly a tank named Sophia, which can actually also jump. Like this you can shoot up in up-forwad and forward, but not down. You can't "crouch" either, so small enemies kinda duck under your regular fire. But in this game you also got an alternative fire, that has a wider range. Another way to appriach such enemies would be, to leave your tank and go on foot. But beware, like this you got fall damage.
I honestly forgot that you can also float like this and failed a section where you need to rescue your Frog companion three times. But i did cut out that part to save some minutes, but you might hear a small jump in the music at that part.

The gameplay and the music is really good. What i don't like is the long textboxes, that try to explain everything.
