Catmaze is a Castlevania like Indie game. Where you start your Adventure by getting some herbs for your sick mother. Too bad, that the direct way is blocked, so you first have to find some artifacts first that unlock some abilities.
The whole game comes in an cute pixelart graphicstyle.
The controls are solid and the music is really nice.
Later you also unlock other types of familiars (one type acts as weapons and the other type acts as magic), so you can unlock some more powerful stuff here. The game doesn't have a level system, but you can use charms that increases different stats. And these charms can be charged with magical orbs, that the enemies drops. This levels such charms to increase the effect.
But if you get hit, you also lose some of this charge.
