Blaster Master Zero 3 : True End vs Sophia J1
2Pretty darn tough! Took some practice to get that done. Took me a while to figure out how to dodge those piercing bullets...and then on my completion attempt he did not even use it. Oh well. Anyway great game and great ending to a series. It seems I skipped blaster master zero 1 so I will be completing that sometime in the future. The ending was very strong here, but I think #2 was slightly better overall for the main story campaign.

To get to this true end area and fight as Metal Fighter, you need to have visited something like 33-34 unique super dimensional areas and received a cutscene from Leibnitz about being familiar with the super dimensional area. You will then see two blue rings on the equip screen. Then after the ending fight with the Planade-G when you see the "dimensional crack" IN THE CUTSCENE you must activate the super dimensional portal with L1+R1 (on my controller). One site said to activate when you see the red text so that probably works too. Would not have figured that out without some extra assistance from an online article. Then you follow the next area to the final area. Then..AGAIN when you are about to start the fight with Kane vs Jason you need to wait a couple seconds otherwise if you press fire you will play as Sophia J1 as default. The game will then switch perspectives and you can fight using Metal Fighter if you press fire when his unit is closest to you. Sophia J1 is tough. Good luck!
