A mixed bag of a game for me due to the HEAVILY reused levels throughout the game. It is like ghouls and ghosts with a little bit of remix thrown in, but you still have to redo the same stages 4 times. The final episode 4 is the only one with the unique last stage. Episodes 2 and 3 have that unique boss and episode 3 introduced three different characters. However I think it would have been MUCH better to have fit it into one full arc with a good and bad ending.

The gameplay is very reminiscent of Castlevania, but the main gimmick of the game is that of switching between characters whenever you want. When one dies it becomes unavailable unless you revive them or all of them die and you restart from the last checkpoint/level. The knocking into pits is excessive in here, in fact that is about the only time I would die when I was playing on Veteran. I put it down to Casual which removes the knockback and had a lot more fun with the game.

Also they really should have nerfed Homing Lightning. :)
