Although this particular entry in the 'BlazBlue' franchise looks similar to its direct predecessor for the most part, there are certain differences here and there. For one, the Astral Finishers are not only available from the start this time around; they are also way easier to perform compared to its predecessor. (Also, certain move inputs have been changed for better or worse.) Additionally, this game is actually the second and final update to 'BlazBlue: Continuum Shift', AKA the direct successor to 'BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger'. ('BlazBlue: Continuum Shift II' would be the first update to 'BlazBlue: Continuum Shift'.)

So yeah, here's to the 15th anniversary of Arc System Works' 'BlazBlue' franchise.
