Well, now let's switch gears into something just a tad different from usual, shall we?

Wow, it's been awhile, huh? This game is... ... ...it's interesting, I suppose is the best way to put it. I still have a tremendous amount of respect for the fact that they actually tried to make a fighting game that operates entirely on motion controls. I just kinda wish they'd tuned their motion controls a little further first, that's all.

Anyway, it's a matter of record that I've been receptive to requests on this game, but I've also not been very quick to fulfill them for at least several months...not that they've been particularly commonplace in the first place. Part of the reason has been because I haven't had access to a willing P2 to help me make sure these requests are treated with at least the proper amount of suspense in order to increase the general likelihood of interesting battles popping up.

Well, geographical differences in location have sought to effectively end my partnership with my go-to punching bag...erm, I mean assistant, clearly...and as a result, I haven't felt like I could really follow up on requests with any level of relatively interesting fulfillment. But that's no excuse for leaving people high and dry when they're actually for some reason watching what I upload and even reaching out and asking for more. It happens so infrequently that of course I can't help but be a little flattered, so it's the least I can do to try bringing such requests into reality. Well, it's the second-least I can do, as I've been doing the very least I can do for awhile now, eh?

Anyway, they don't come up very often...and if I was properly considerate, I'd probably have written these things down...and I really do wish I had, as it's not easy to recall where and when and who wanted to see what. I have found three requests...or rather two and a half, and I at least THINK that there's no dark corners of the Tube of You to hide more from me.

So here's how things are going to play out. For lack of a second human to subject this kind of silliness to, I've decided to set things up according to a mixed format. There will be three matches: one turn each for me controlling both requested participants, which will obviously result in a draw...followed up by the perfect test of "luck" and an interesting insight into the AI's inner workings given the way characters' attacks function, letting the two duke it out without my interference at all. Think of it as a sort of unbalanced coin flip or something, and I'll just let the characters work it out for themselves.

The oldest unanswered request I could find came from missdeathknight13579, and she wanted to see Orihime and Aizen fight.

Wow, if we don't start with two of the more default heavy-hitters of the game...I mean, I'm not going to pretend like the game is balanced per se, but it's at least set up such that a wary player should be able to overcome any character with any other, it's just a matter of greater awareness of your opponent's attacks while exercising your own.

The AI is another matter, though, because it's...well, stupid. Its only directives are "check range, maybe move a bit, use attack"...and sometimes it even skimps on the first step. So the third round will definitely look kinda funky...maybe you'll even get a cheap laugh out of it?

Match #1: Sosuke Aizen (P1) vs. Orihime Inoue (COM)
Seireitei Street: Evening

Well, as I've gone on record to claim, Aizen is definitely one of the characters with a more lucrative attack pattern than most. His only real weakness is his relatively slow and relaxed swordplay. He can use his illusory counter attack on projectiles, even the ridiculously strong and perfectly-homing Koten Zanshun. Aizen can actually ignore and remove her shield by performing his counter attack. Most (if not all) cinematic specials will also simply ignore the Santen Kesshun shield.

Match #2: Orihime Inoue (P1) vs. Sosuke Aizen (COM)
Rukon District

Orihime, on the other hand is downright broken...with the caveat that you must be a human to use her properly. The AI just doesn't understand the insanity of the tools it has been granted. Put up a shield, laugh at your enemy for trying to get through while you heal or attack with impunity...it's not complicated, but the AI doesn't really "think" and as such you can beat her without a human to hold her hand.

Match #3: Sosuke Aizen (COM) vs. Orihime Inoue (COM)
Within the Seal

I'm going to level with you here...this battle's proceedings was highly unexpected. As I said, the AI isn't very smart with Orihime, and Aizen is just a straight up attacker with downright insane special attack patterns. The AI can even completely obliterate Koten Zanshun projectile as often as it wants with an intercepting critical attack...although I wouldn't particularly recommend this approach.
