We are living in uncertain and unstable times. The world order built on
universally accepted rules have virtually disappeared and with the Russian
aggression on Ukraine, the remaining postulates of international and
humanitarian law collapsed.
The existing global governance systems in security, peace,
environment, energy and economy are faltering.
The rules-based order is at a breaking point. How will we address the many global challenges and how will we cooperate in the future? A new era of geopolitics is at dawn. The tourism
panel will address the potentially lasting impact of economic volatility,
geopolitical unrest and the rising cost of living, as well as consumers' strong desire
for environmentally friendly choices, on the travel industry in Europe and
globally.
