Blood Bowl is a bloody sport game set in the fantasy world created by Games Workshop and that has given us so much joy in the strategy genre. I have never liked sports too much... unless there is a little bit of destruction, a little bit of violence (or a lot), a ball with spikes... Blood Bowl is to American football what Rollerball is to Roller Derby.
Choose your team among those available: Undead, Humans, Orcs, Elves, Dark Elves, Chaos... A fairly complete sample (although not exempt of DLC content) that opens the tactical range of each match. With each team you play differently: some are contact players, others speed players, others are good receivers or pitchers... you have to hire players, wait for them to recover on the benches... but above all you have to position them strategically in the field to open the way to the Touchdown.
A great turn-based game, sporty and violent, with many tactical and competitive possibilities despite the imbalance of some of the teams. A great option to hang out alone or accompanied. Perhaps a mode with fewer players like Soccer 7 would suit it in order to accelerate the pace of the games a bit and lower his average duration from 45 minutes to 25 or 30. Great game.
