Gato Roboto - Black and White Metroidvania Gameplay!
2"In Gato Roboto we embody an adorable kitten that was aboard a spaceship that crashed into an alien underworld. The captain of the ship survived the collision, but got trapped into the spaceship and, hence, our goal. We have to save him!
The captain will give us information on how to reach key points to achieve objectives and get useful objects to carry out the rescue but he is not sure that a kitten understands what he says. Here comes the funny part, our intelligent kitten, apart from understanding the orders of the captain, is able to use his feline abilities to climb and cross narrow passages and, the best part is that he can use different robotic-suits to kill enemies and travel through the map, a kind of underground labyrinth that has certain points that, as expected, require some special suit or ability to reach them.
What to say about the aesthetic? Well… It is spectacularly arcade. That absolutely retro touch in black and white that combine perfectly with simple and effective movement mechanics that provide the game with good gameplay and guaranteed fun.
