Blood - The Lost Episode [All Secrets ...i know of]
3Oh boy....
The good: Making an episode out of reused alpha maps is a fantastic idea, that has only been done for Doom and Blood. Yes, you have all those Lameduke and Shadow Warrior alpha maps, and no one ever bothered to remake them. The level design is of professional standard, and the final showdown is much more dangerous than the one at the end of Ep4.
The bad: I don't want to be harsh, because the guy who did it seemed like a nice and passionate person, but some of the changes he did are really amateurish, and just bad sometimes. Particularly in the Armor department. You never,EVER in the episode encounter regular, fire,spirit or basic armor. All that you get, is roughly once-per-level, a super armor, which most of the time is hidden in secrets or out-of-the-way locations. When i first played this, it was an atrocious experience, because in Blood, on any difficulty above "pink on the inside" you WILL take some damage peeking around corners. Without armor? Good fucking luck!
The good, again: Changes he did that aren't armor, are usually great, such as destructible environment, and lots of ammunition.
I also changed to BloodGDX, and the Voodoo doll feels so good finally.
