Bloodborne 08 Cathedral Ward Wooden Shield Hunter Set Alfred Monocular Black Church Eileen Twin
0Continuing with the new area, Cathedral Ward. This place can branch out to 5 other areas, but as of right now, you can't access any of them until you defeat the boss of this area and maybe some other conditions. Just for reference, these areas include Forbidden Woods, Old Yharnam, Forgotten Village, Abandoned Workshop, and (spoilers, minor hidden area).
CW may seem looks big and I got to say, maybe it is. Okay, fine, it is big, but don't be intimidated; at least once you explore the area a bit. Just know that you can go around in circles in many of these areas because they are connected. There are a lot of places in this video that can be editted out. I know I said I don't want to waste time, but I did a little bit in here picking a few "unneeded" items, but some of which were ones that I have not obtained before. As for blood gems, I'll pick them in the vid, but I won't mention them here.
00:15 Wooden Shield - Useful if you are fighting with 1 hand weapons. It will replace your gun. The major advantage is that you can block some melee and some range attacks. Disadvantage? No viscreals. I don't use this, but maybe in the future if I decide to do some testing.
00:39 Hunter Set - By far, probably one of the best sets in the game. Very good defense stats and you can probably finish the game with this; not that what you wear plays a big part or anything.
01:45 Monocular - I use this A LOT. Especially if I want a closer up at certain NPCs when they are talking. Also, great for screen shots and close-ups. Some have used this for battling, but I don't see how that's possible. Camera moves very slow while using this.
04:55 Alfred - One of the NPCs whose story you can continue. In order to do so, co-operate with him. You can, but you don't have to, fight along side with him in other battles. You just need to tell him you're willing to co-operate and listen to his stories for now. Next step occurs after you've beat the boss. If you attack him, he will attack back and you can't continue with his quest. So be warned.
08:18 Old Yharname Entrance - Will continue later on. Just showing where you can access it now. It doesn't take much effort. For now, you can activate it and use it to get back to the Ward.
09:37 Arianna - A potentional NPC that you can recruit/save after you've defeated the area boss. Just note where she is located right now.
10:15 Black Church Set - A good set, but meh. May be used to recruit/save a future NPC
12:30 Eileen the Crow Part 2 - To continue what was left from the Sewers, the next part takes place at 00:53. This initiates the gate to the next area to be opened. You need to buy and use a "Special Emblem" that can be brought while in you are in Hunter's Dream. This isn't enough though because (8:33 to confirm that it is not enough) you need to unlock the 2nd gates leading to the actual boss. This is achieved at 11:40 and 12:03. Not sure if both of them needs to be pulled, but having more access doesn't hurt.
13:50 1st Twin Bloodstone Shard - Getting this Shard and then duping it on the next vid for 1 hours (just like before). Bring a Bold Hunter's Mark in order to get out of there quickly after you've obtain it. Don't need to kill the surrounding enemies.
