As you might know now, these videos are added to the playlist called Bloodborne Essentials. That is to say that it represents this whole walkthrough's difference between others you see online. Let me explain.

There are too many times when I wanted to get all the special items (one-time, key items of sorts), and so I went to look at some videos to find out where they were. Yes, they do show where they are, but in the process, they have to kill every single enemy that they see. That or the simply run pass every single enemy without showing where all the items are.

My definition of Essentials is that my purpose is to pickup these one-time deals. I am using the Dupe feature, so stackables doesn't apply to me as soon as I get a copy of those items (bloodstones and chalice material, mostly). I'll fight enemies that pose issues after I pick those items up and also enemies guarding something useful (shortcuts, etc...). I might deviate from this sometimes, but if so, that means I did this on my first run (that will be rare).
