Bloodborne Chalice Material Farming #1 - Tomb mould(5)
331This is a quick way to get tomb mould (5) which is needed for depth 5 chalice dungeons such as the great isz chalice. To increase the drop rate ensure to use eye runes. 1. The drop rate will also increase the higher your arcane stat but in general is quite low, most ive gotten is 4 in one go, most of the time you will get between 0-1 (still this is the fastest way)
2. If you do not have the first door unlocked go up the ladder to the right, take a left in the first room and then open the door at the bottom of the stairs.
3. The lycan / wolf is easy to kill but a mad woman will come up behind you, i found it quicker and safer to sprint to the rats
4. To ensure the wolf doesnt follow you into the rat room be sure to turn right and run to the end of the room.
5. Rats are easy to kill when isolated but tricky as a group, try isolate them for an easier time, if not the beast roar is useful when surrounded
6. Using the AOE attacks will make this easier, the L2 attack on the hunters axe is likely to be effective
7. If you are having difficulty there are 3 rats on level 3 which are easier to get too.
8. Once your done either use a hunter mark or let the wolf kill you to reset the rats.
9. Once you can create a root chalice there may be faster ways to get tomb mould (5) but its unlikely there will be an area where the rats are so close to the lantern
10. Dont worry about using vials or bullets, the rats net you a nice 20k echoes which can be used to restock
11. Finally this can be done for any level of tomb mould, i.e if you need tomb mould(3) find a rat infested area near a lantern in any depth 3 dungeon and farm away. For others i.e 1 2 or 4 just find a dungeon with a corresponding depth rating.
