Bloody Chronicles - Part 26 (Chapter 1 End)
And here is the moment everyone has been waiting for, the reveal of the Phantom...
Otherwise, this chapter bounces around from different perspectives as the team tries to figure out what exactly happened and whether there is anything they can actually do.
Overall, I'm not entirely sure how I feel about the game as a whole, which is why I didn't do anything in-depth at the end in terms of review. The game was interesting as a slow-burn procedural, but the supernatural elements added in a Twin Peaks vibe that did not mesh with the previous sub-genre. I'm also unsure of what direction they will be going in from here as now that the Phantom has been revealed, they can't really do the procedural thing anymore. There is also the question of whether or not Hisshi will be the new MC since Kazuki isn't an option anymore. I am a bit concerned that the devs may have wrote themselves into a corner, and we'll have to see if it causes the second chapter to have an awkward start. Maybe the Phantom will disappear into the background and make a cameo here and there while the group tries to solve some other case that will give them more information about the Phantom.
