With that addition of Luminary, this unlock changes significantly, and you can tilt things heavily in your favor by abusing some keywords. Due to the way the board game works, this was actually intentional, however, due to how digital variants work, this is just a bonus.

So first things first, make sure you set Blade to advanced mode to get damage reduction for all of Luminary's devices. Then by playing the defensive one, it will block for Luminary for the majority of the game against almost everything as there are few things in team villain mode that can get over that damage reduction. Then by using the proper device power, you can boost that damage reduction even higher. Remember that Parse and Setback can both give power plays, and you have the means to become immortal. If you want to play this extremely safe, do not destroy the Physique card as that will protect Blade from the environment for longer than he did here. It's just that with the power plays from Setback and Expat's incaps, I could handle whatever the rat was dishing out. To make things worse for the enemy, you can always put a ton of nanites out to repair your stuff. Ultimately, you will most likely get the cards you need in the trash, so it is up to you on what Doomsday Device to unleash.

As for the rest of your team, Benchmark can help you out, but the other three are here for their incaps. Let them drop and use the additional plays and powers to wipe out the enemy.

As for the environment, once all 3 Squall Guards are on the field, whatever nemesis Ambuscade drops, will be butchered immediately. I could make this worse by allowing the hurricane to run rampant (Devices are safe, remember), and throwing Hairtrigger Reflexes on top of it. You can go further and allow one of the buildings to sit on the field that will nullify a large portion of the damage from both Revolt as well as Friction to make those two harmless.

The main takeaway from this is that Luminary turns this entire thing on its head. By fielding the full 10 man match here, I don't have to worry about any devices or equipment hitting the field as all of those are negated by using these 10. Essentially, you merely have to win this match, which is easier with Advanced Blade than without. After that, go into a different game and drop an equipment card and you're in business. Hopefully this helps those of you who were struggling to get this unlock.
