Ahhh... Bloody Wolf... the Turbo Chip (HuCard) game with the cheesy dialogue and awesome action that made it an unsung classic. Originally released in arcades, the TG16 port is quite impressive to say the least and is actually better than the Arcade game in many ways. The plot has been ripped from practically every old macho action movie in existence, but who really cares right?

Your mission? Rescue the freaking president. The commandos for the job? Snake and Eagle, two tough-as-nails men with loads of weapons, male testosterone, and witty remarks (which the villains have in ample supply as well). It's not quite Contra and it's not quite Metal Gear, but you wouldn't be far off in saying that it plays like something inbetween. There isn't much to think about, and if you're spending time trying to think in this game, you'll probably die faster than simply destroying people with reckless abandon.

Your characters (whom you can also rename) can shoot enemies with various weapons, lob various grenades, and stab people when all else fails. You can also rescue hostages for useful tools and steal an enemies motorcycle. While the game's design is reminiscent to many military style games before it, the variety is surprisingly good for this game. Sometimes you're moving right, sometimes you're moving up, sometimes you're drifting and have limited control. The bosses are also pretty neat. For instance, the boss on the first level can blow up chunks of land or the next stages' mid-boss (who isn't shown here) can get shot into the water and leave a pile of blood. Gooooood stuff. The only notable fault this game has over the arcade game is it lacks a co-op function. Otherwise, the levels are bigger, better, and there are more of them. The dialogue is also expanded and just as funny. Lol @ Muscle Emphasis Tablets.
