I was introduced to Bloons TD 6 in a conversation on twitter and had absolutely no idea what to expect. Also, at the time I made this video, there was a bag of grapes sitting in the fridge.
I don't mind grapes. They're a tasty, if unremarkable fruit, and on occasion I buy a bag containing a stalk of the little juicy guys in an attempt to give my family and I an alternative to the more sugary, processed sweets we all, as humans living under capitalism, need on a daily basis. However, like so many times before, we leave the bag on a shelf in the refrigerator and time keeps passing it's eternal tempo while it never seems like the right time to crack open a bag of grapes. Just to be clear, we do eat some of the grapes. We aren't monsters. For a few days after buying the bag, we might say something like "Hey, do you want some grapes?" and the other person will think to themselves "Oh yeah, there's grapes, aren't there? I don't mind eating grapes. Sure. I will, have some grapes." But it never lasts. That's the thing about bags of grapes, they just contain so, many, grapes.
Eventually the novelty of "having grapes" wears off and we return to our base nature as humans. That being NOT wanting to eat grapes. And so it lingers. Too valuable to toss out, not delicious enough to warrant eating.
Eventually the grapes rot, or mold. By this point, it's a relief, a godsend, you were never going to eat the grapes but now you have permission to throw them out. They're rotten, you didn't waste them, heavens no! You kept them as long as you could, but entropy took them none the less. At least that's what you tell yourself, on the way to trashcan out front. Content you live in world with a grocery store around the corner, with an isle, overflowing with grapes.
