BLS 1K Subs - Hestercombe Works Celebration Open Day GCR 02/11/2023
23One of the main events for our 1k Subscribers Festival was a public open day at Hestercombe Workshops celebrating our 1k milestone with the developers of Roblox Grand Continental Railways who have been kind enough to associate British Locomotive Studios into the GCR universe with a railway company under the name of Locomotive Rail Leasing (LRL) and in return BLS help out with advertising and audio for various locomotives and rolling stock in game.
The 1k Celebration Open Day event included visiting locomotives from the various private operating companies within the GCR universe as well as BLS/LRL owned locomotives. We also had an information stand giving members of the public information about Locomotive Rail Leasing with its fleet of locomotives and the British Locomotive Studios company as a whole. Two new narrow gauge locomotives were also on display at the event produced by Sam Arner which are now known as BLS's first 3D locomotive models ever to be seen in Roblox.
The event got off to a rough start but once in full swing though's involved in making this whole thing happen did a fantastic job with the various locomotive movements and mainline shuttle services making the HW depot an exciting place to be, we want to thank all who attended and hope you enjoyed the show!
