116Burning down the house. This was a tough topic to cover and I thought of perhaps not posting this because of the disturbing nature of "purging" a household. But in the end I decided to start the campaign by dousing the players in the face with some ice cold water. The ugly job of the Inquisition. The idea of Exterminatis is pretty wild: the extinction of an entire world to save other worlds. Let me be clear-- I am not expressing my own opinion here, just posing a question. I found this picture of an Iraqi boy who had third degree burns over most of his body and had both his arms blown off during an american bombing run. From the edge of the picture, you can see his mother's hand reaching in to mop his brow. His eyes were black with pain and lack of sleep. In the caption, it says that he has a 50/50 chance of survival. It made me think: what was worth this? Couldn't the ambassadors of these nations work things out? This and more on my mind is fueling this game.
