Is blurry vision ruining your VR experience and immersion? I noticed that the Meta Quest 2 has a higher tendency to be blurry than the Oculus Rift CV1. I believe this is due to the lack of IPD adjustment on the Meta Quest 2. For example, on the Oculus Rift CV1, there was many options for setting the distance between your eyes. On the Oculus Quest 2, however, this was reduced to only 3 spots.
Thus, my astigmatism (poor, blurry vision) combined with the lack of granularity on the inter pupillary distance setting on the Quest 2 made the MQ2 pretty annoying to use. In this video, I discuss the pros and cons of using the Oculus glasses spacer vs. using a prescription lens.
The two prescription lens brands I compared were VR Lens Lab and VR Wave.
