Ahhhh, time to continue my "Danny is a fuddy-duddy" series - discussing my propensity and love of analog games versus digital.
Today is essentially what started my analog love - Tabletop RPGs.

Whether D&D, Pathfinder, Call of Cthulhu, Shadowrun, GURPS, or the myriad of other options, tabletop RPGs are unique in the gaming world. They're as open as the players' and GM's imagination allows, essentially with just a few simple rules, and require very little in the way of materials. As we move from tabletop to other game types we gradually lose the freedom granted by the games. Not a bad thing inherently, but drastically changes the feel of a game.

Most importantly, what do YOU all think? Do you appreciate the massive freedom granted by these types of games? Or prefer something a bit more defined and linear? Let me know in the comments!
