Board Game Discussion - What is a Hobby Board Game?
This is an odd thing. We talk about board games all the time. Well, I do, here on my channel, anyway. But lots of people talk about them online, in-person, and all over. With the term "hobby game". But what actually IS a Hobby Game? Is there a definition? Let's discuss!
I first started hobby board gaming a bit over a decade ago and never really noticed a "real" transition, personally. What's a hobby game versus any other game, and why? What makes a game NOT be considered a hobby game? It's an interesting question that was brought up recently and bounced around in my head a bit, so I decided to share some of my thoughts with you all!
As always, I want to know what YOU all think, though! Let me know in the comments what you do and don't consider a hobby board game, and why! The need is real, and I think it could get interesting!
