This street shit with a powerful rap voice to lead it. His voice so dope and demand so much presence he doesn't even have to go crazy penwise. Hes talking nice, lots of lingo, and just street stories but more braggadocio than anything. He's hooking too, mixing it up. When it was more anthem heavy it was just solid, but when he hit the more emotional beat, street realism bag he it fit better. His standard is solid but the songs only really graded higher when the beat was super dope or a feature added much needed contrast. Pacing is solid, but this really felt like a label or contract run project that was more what the people want and safe than like something he wanted to go crazy on. Its solid either way, if he upped his punchlines, and really showed out with his pen, I can see him mixing it up with the best of them in a more swinging swords way rather then on this just having a dope feature hanging out on the track. In rotation.
