Damnation level gameplay on the NEW map, Ascension Riser 31. I'll be giving some live commentary through this run through, because, why not.

There are a couple of points in this map where you cross paths with other missions, but not too many to feel like its not fresh. You really do get the feeling you are in the inner workings of the Hive City as it feels very nitty gritty and at times, mildly claustrophobic.

I really enjoyed the mid and end mission sequences and think they will provide a very satisfying challenge once we get special conditions onto the map.

Overall, I would say this is a Fatshark W. But we need MORE of this, more maps and fixes to the trivial annoyances. Because its all well and good people like myself enjoying the game, as I'm addicted and LOVE the gameplay a lot. But we need to retain the majority of the players and attract new ones, and if they keep avoiding the stupid issues such as crafting, we don't have a good chance at retaining those players.

The patch as a whole has been underwhelming, even though the new missions are so incredible. It shows that they need to lean into their strengths more and get more of this real playable content coming to keep it fresh. But as I say, to retain people, they need to fix the frustrations.
